Seminar
Title: Dark matter searches from colliders
Speaker: Dr. Ning Zhou (Tsinghua University)
Time: 10:00AM, May 22nd (Friday)
Place: Theoretical Physics Division,319
Abstract:
Dark matter remains a mystery in the universe. Besides direct and indirect experiments, we perform the dark matter searches on the LHC proton-proton collider. In this seminar, different approaches to finding evidence for dark matter at ATLAS experiment are shown. These include searches for events with large missing transverse momentum and a single jet and events with two energetic jets mainly. LHC Run I results and Run II expectations are presented.
