Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce my work on entropy calculation of black holes from loop quantum gravity.Using the BF theory instead of the usually Chern-Simons theory, we also get the Bekenstein-Hawking area law. Then I will give my plan on future work during the next two years, including the entropy calculation of the black holes in Lovelock theory, a microscopic model for the "membrane paradigm" from loop quantum gravity, and the "empty black hole" model.
